My hip joints were done in 2005 and have been magic. The makers Depay had problems but my ones weren't in that batch.
Once done you will feel much better.
I have become quiet knowledgeable on this sort stuff because of necessity.
No doubt younger readers will be wondering about us old gits moaning about ill health.
Well the greatest gift is good health so look after yourselves. It's not a rehearsal, the life you lead now is the real thing. You are not exempt and you will get old. So exercise, proper food, sleep and only drink alcohol in moderation. If you get rat arsed every Friday then you are drinking too much. And as for drugs don't be so stupid. All drugs inc the weed may cause eventual health problems.
I spent 15 days in a ward where two of the guys had alcohol problems. One was only 28 and he was yellow in colour. Yellow eyes. He looked 50. His prognosis was not good. I reckon his liver was knackered. Also one guy had lung problems and got caught smoking in the bog. The smoke alarm went off. The male nurse in charge warned him that there's no point in you being here and you might as well just die at home. No sugar coating it. Also there's a lot of oxygen around. While suffering from dementia in hospital I tried to discharge mysekf and the doctor said I would be dead in a day. I couldn't anyway because of dementia they would apply mental health act. Then call the cops.
The guy in the next bed had had a stroke he couldn't talk properly and I used to talk to him and then make sense of what he was saying and repeat back to him if I got it right he gave a thumbs up. He turned out to be very switched on. He used words like ecumenical.
I am so lucky in hospital I met people with serious illnesses and some despite that its game over were so chipper.
Thats the human spirit in full bloom.
Anyway thanks for reading this meandering sometimes morbid posting.
Kind regards
Bob
PS
I must say that The Royal Bournemouth Hospital looked after me very well. The food was nice esp. The fish and chips and apple pie and custard. The only bad thing was they kept sticking needles in me. Small price to pay for my life and I owe the hospital big time.

I think the one thing I saw that really made me feel lucky was the young couple taking their very young baby down for radiotherapy. At least nobody can see where I had surgery to remove my cancer if I am wearing trousers!
I met "Mr Knee" this morning - he was walking their dog on the marsh, which can be quite risky for people with sound legs! He says the worst thing is feeling his knee as it no longer feels like it is part of him!
I "caught" Mrs Scepticaemia this afternoon (at 3:30 or so) and she said "he" was supposed to go down to endoscopy this morning but was still waiting! I hope they get him sorted as I don't think he really wants the drink again!! He's still on for release tomorrow but we agreed that the doctors need to make sure he is fit this time: doctors and an ambulance turned up last time he was taken in and there were paramedics on the phone to advise as well!

Tractorman.
Mr knee is imagining things. I sometimes think that my hips aren't mine. But its really is in my imagination.
I have met people who for health reasons are in a bad way.
I empathise their predicament. Because whats happened to them - there by the grace of god I go. Fortunately I have an amazing family that supports me.
I mey a guy with palsy. This parents left him in hospital when he was 2 and disappeared. He has spent all his life being shoved in institutions up and down the country.
Sounds like Mr sepsis has colitis. The usual reason for endoscopy. Not drinking is seriously dangerous and it doesn't take many days before organs start to shut down.
Got to go important stuff to do
Regards
