engine is pretty much plug and play, litterally, bm to bm, but i might have taco issues, the wiring and clocks are currently 4 pot, and the taco would be reading double.

If the rain stays off, when I get home tonight I'm gonna drag the engine out, this should give me clearer access to the wiring. But by the looks of it the loom is fully on the engine, comes of the engine into a box on the o/s bulkhead, I. This box is the engine ecu and the abs ecu. Coming into this box is the hardwired car loom, some of the wires going to the abs plug, and the rest going into the engine ecu. So basically I'm gonna need to know what wires out of that loom do what, and also which wires I'm gonna need for the ews :(

okily dokily, 27 wires and a conundrum.

This little plug comes of the hard wired loom, and then joins into the engine loom, so what is this powering? and I take it this little take of from that plug (4 wires) to the abs ecu, basicly tells the abs the engine is running, and how fast the car is going? if so, i need to know how to piggy back this to the e36 loom

and then we have this mass of wires, 27 of them, 4 are big thick green uns, well 2 are green, 2 are green and summit, if I can find out what does what here, i'll be 1/2 in ith a chance
