Got something to say, but it's not classic related? Here's the place to discuss. Also includes the once ever-so-popular word association thread... (although we've had to start from scratch with it - sorry!)
If not you can borrow my universal Laptop repair tool
Understeer: when you hit the wall with the front of the car.
Oversteer: when you hit the wall with the back of the car.

With a couple of friends, we whacked an old mac so thin it could be posted under the door of the technology teacher's lounge. I hate apple products
More recently I crushed a G3 HP ML350 (after setting up it's replacement) in a 30 tonne press. Guaranteed no data will be recovered from that thing!

JPB ..Terry .. That Dell 15r i bought..its not arrived yet, but I've just clicked the link to have another look,(like ya do ) either its now obsolete or discontinued with that processor. But look at the touch screen price now!Did i get a bargain?? http://www.dell.com/uk/p/inspiron-15r-5521/pd
Even the departmental buyers of such things at work only get around 25% off and that's when they buy hundreds on a repeat basis.
So did you mean that they're giving you a processor upgrade free, gratis and for nowt in place of the one that was standard fit in that machine or is it the i3-equipped model that's gone up in price. Either way, you bagged it at sensible money.
J "Home is where you park it", so the saying goes. That may yet come true..
