Hooked it up to a separate battery, no arcing at the terminals ,but little glow worms on the elements ... it's a knackered screen, musta scratched it after all

That's an arse. Have you tried calling the big glass companies seeing if they have one in stock? you might get lucky.

Amazingly I managed to fix mine by cleaning the contacts inside a relay (bonus!)
Understeer: when you hit the wall with the front of the car.
Oversteer: when you hit the wall with the back of the car.
Horsepower: how fast you hit the wall.
Torque: how far you take the wall with you.

Luckily, a stone flicked up and cracked it next week ;) . £60 replacement glass excess not too bad.
T4 passed mot on Friday , Cinquecento will fail tomorrow 12.30 ,on strut top mount ,1/4" of play  and handbrake.. Pajero, i've not looked at , is 3pm .Fingers crossed on that one.. So thats £150 this week in MOTs . It's a bugger they're all due at the same time

t4 pass
pajero pass  ...
cinquecento is gonna fail without a doubt. It might not be worth fixing, we'll see :(

Well, well, the Cinquecento almost passed the MOT !! Jacked it up and pressure washed all the crud off yesterday.(It hasn't been serviced for 5 years.. If it ain't broke ... and the MOT is its annual service !!) It's so light, both front wheels were a hangin'.. blasted the nearside front arch clean, grabbed the road wheel and turned opposite lock to clean the t'other side of it and "clunk clunk " the strut is flopping around on the top mount ,bumpstop is missing, and the gaiter is in shreds :o :o
Not noisy when driven though??
Rocking the rear wheels also produced movement and a clunk  So, i thought since thats 2 fails anyway, the hand brake is crap too ,and I can't get a top mount on a Sunday, I'll not bother looking at anything else ,stick it through .. and we'll scrap it if it's really bad..
Ha ! Advisory on the strut.. (they're allowed a bit of slack unloaded ?)slight movement advisory on the trailing arm , FAIL only the handbrake efficiency !! 15.99 brake shoes and free off the levers, ought to pass tomorrow 8-) Not bad for a '96 p reg very neglected Fiat !! Heated rear screen works on it too.
