Classics Monthly issue 206 August 2013

With a score of 9 out of 10 the test winner was T-Cut Original Metal Polish It looks the same as Sovol Autosol but I have no idea how it compares - apart from price as CM quote the T-Cut at £5.99 for 100g tube which is more expensive . . . . .

Hi Kev

Also tested was Peek Cream Polish (8/10) that says it cleans, polishes and protects - also a Simoniz liquid (7/10) none of them mention a wax

Some product tests are online but not this one . . . . . . . l guess you need to keep looking for your copy of the magazine - it has a silver TR8 on the front cover.

In my experience nothing beats Autoglym's chrome polish. T-Cut and Autosol do a good job of cleaning but don't protect very well.

On the Aston Martin I've just restored, I used Autosol followed by Autoglym hard wax (It's a liquid wax but VERY hard wearing and gives great protection)
