Restoration Projects needed for new documentary series

Here's the place to chat about all things classic. Also includes a feedback forum where you can communicate directly with the editorial team - don't hold back, they'd love to know what they're doing right (or wrong of course!)

No "Hear, hear" smiley. Does make this place look a bit "PracticallyABunchOfKnobs"

These media types are pretty stoic. Look at Phil, we haven't managed to put him off yet and he's even joining in with the Mornington Crescent/Botticelli thread. ;)

UKJeeper, spinach works well for that, or liver if you take meat. ;) Here's the emoticon you need:

They need protecting from the wrath of every classic car owner in the country.
Understeer: when you hit the wall with the front of the car.
Oversteer: when you hit the wall with the back of the car.
Horsepower: how fast you hit the wall.
Torque: how far you take the wall with you.

Just to let you know that Kate was nice enough to reply to my application (Unsuccessful unfortunately), and apologize for taking "too long" before replying.

Seems like a honest, above board person. Though TBH, most researchers/gophers usually are. Its often the higher up's in the production company that are weasels.

Miranda Stern - wanted a Mark 1 Cooper, Lotus Cortina etc and posted here a few days ago but the whole topic appears to have been removed. Made it look like a private purchase but then you find out she's another researcher for another TV company. Really don't mind more classics on TV as long as it's nothing like Channel 5's Classic Car Rescue - at least we know Fuzz is working on another series of Car SOS and so perhaps the success of that has given other producers similar ideas.
