ouch

Got something to say, but it's not classic related? Here's the place to discuss. Also includes the once ever-so-popular word association thread... (although we've had to start from scratch with it - sorry!)

 I feel for the co driver, I regularly dislocate my right shoulder and it hurts like a very hurty thing and can make this large man howl like a girl (especially when I refit it afterwards) so he must have cahones the size of spacehoppers. Yeah, and the cage must have been quite tough too.

I believe that "gnarly" is an underused word that could fit well into this thread at some point. 8-)

Ahh pikes peak been there with an S2 quattro some years ago. I had the opportunity to drive up it and didn't take it something I have always regretted. As for co-drivers they really do need to have nerves of steel. In the past I have sat in with drivers of rally cars on numerous occasions both for work and pleasure,as it were, and it scared the s&@t out of me. As is the case with being a passenger in any car, as a co-driver you are just that 'a passenger' when anything goes wrong

:( Now I feel almost ashamed about taking the wotsit!

I hope that she got her comeuppance when the wealthy bloke traded her in for a younger model. :x

Rich did trade her in for a younger model, that is why she emptied his house and bank account ;)

Dang! Terry steps in and subverts my carefully planned use of the word "wealthy".

So, yeah, rally co-drivers; 'kin nutjobs aren't they? :P
