power steering

was wondering if mk5 escort power steering would fit in my mk2 orion 16i ghia?

all helpful advice would be welcome

mine has 1.6i would possibly be same as xr3i engine

the car the steering will come from has 1.6 zetec engine

This was asked on here a while ago, the conclusion then was that the rack, pump and pipes should - for ease of fitting - come from another MK2 Orion or its Escort equivalent, this was an option at the time on Ghias and on all saloons after the change from Orion to Escort name on the boot.

I think John,that the OP has more accessibility to the Zetec setup than the optional extra parts from the same CVH

would 2 pulleys on the alternator to run a power steering pump work ok on the orion

hmmm...might do,of course,the two pulleys would be for crank and pump.
