Launched in 1972 the Honda Civic is 40 years old next year. Some of our members have been asked by HONDA to join in some pre 2012 celebrations. Next year we have a retired HONDA engineer from Japan who was involved with HONDA at the time of the Civics production coming over to the UK as our honored guest for a meet up of all 1st gen civic enthusiasts. That was in a Honda dealership in South Croydon wasn't it?
I drove past this morning and spied the green Civic in the window.
Have you forgotten that once we were brought here we were robbed of our names,robbed of our language,we lost our religion,our culture,our God? And many of us by the way we act,we even lost our minds.
Nice one,I remember a friend of my parents buying one (metallic blue with a vinyl roof) back in the 70's and me being fascinated by this curious little Japanese thing.
How old do I sound ?
Was it a Civic Hightower ripped the front seats out of in Police Academy so that he could fit into to drive ?
