mr2 alternator removal

Got something to say, but it's not classic related? Here's the place to discuss. Also includes the once ever-so-popular word association thread... (although we've had to start from scratch with it - sorry!)

Given the type of mod that has been done I suspect it has been driven by a chav so I would have a good nose at the service history and make sure it has actually been serviced in their ownership. Too many chavs believe that oil and filters last forever. also worth checking the clutch and handbrake to ensure they haven't been car park fwd drifting at le mcdonalds.

On a purely financial level, that could make sense as a swap but you have to promise that you won't bond with the thing.
Oh, and European law states that the handful of Tigra drivers who aren't employed in the hair and beauty trade must look like this charming soul:

You have bank holiday weeks in France? lazy locals!
Understeer: when you hit the wall with the front of the car.
Oversteer: when you hit the wall with the back of the car.
Horsepower: how fast you hit the wall.
Torque: how far you take the wall with you.

standard is good. it is much less likely to have been abused.
would you have more miles but regular servicing or fewer miles and still on the factory oil?
