mr2 alternator removal

Got something to say, but it's not classic related? Here's the place to discuss. Also includes the once ever-so-popular word association thread... (although we've had to start from scratch with it - sorry!)

Bonus :) €40 left over to spend on fuel.
Understeer: when you hit the wall with the front of the car.
Oversteer: when you hit the wall with the back of the car.
Horsepower: how fast you hit the wall.
Torque: how far you take the wall with you.

:o Awww, don't cry for him, Rich. I'm sure his guide dog will find the passenger seat very comfortable.

Damn, no more merde jokes.
On the plus side Rich, you won't have to change the alternator again, again, again.

BX are cool in a retro way. I'm sure there is a problem obtaining parts for ABS cars but I could have remembered that wrong.
This will seat 2 adults and 2 children:

Looking at more modern things, how about an Audi A4. They are cheap, bomb proof reliable and if you get the right model, quick too. There is an Audi Coupe in this month's mag (1997) that the owner says cost less than a grand. It's the rag top so won't be a Quattro but I had a 1990 Coupe Quattro for a while and it was amazing fun to drive!
