Very quiet mate... Saw a tidy Renault 4 yesterday...

My digger doesn't get used much, but occasionally there are jobs and a lot of action.. last week it broke down.. fuel starvation... I changed the filter and it was covered in a varnish type substance.. any idea what causes this? I use white diesel... Apparently it's the law...

Car has been running fine until I went away when the starter motor packed up..  I wasn't very popular.. I replaced it yesterday and everything is perfect, for the moment.. what a pain in the a##e to do ... Waiting for something else to go wrong now

Wife drove 206 yesterday, she was following me to drop a van off ... Engine management light went off on its own....

I changed the crankshaft sensor.. took it for a 20 km test and it seems to be ok...

New parts fitted, maf? And a motor on the butterfly valve on the carb/air intake.. down to po170 code now.. ordered a flywheel sensor and checked the top lambda? Sensor check, someone fitted new ones 4 years ago... Cut off the plug and joined the cables with heat shrink... Replaced the sensor ...
