Thanks for your suggestion, but they are definitely not MGB, that was my first guess too.
These are narrower and lighter than those, so Midget is a possibilty as the car is quite light on the back end.
I will try to find dimensions of Midget ones.

Hi,
Can anyone please help me to identify these springs from my old Gentry kitcar?
It has a 1.6 Pinto engine, ford 4 speed gearbox but an MGB rear axle.
Oh yes, and Spitfire front suspension!
They look like MK1/MK2 escort from pictures I have seen, so if you just happen to have one lying around in ...
