That's a lovely REO Flying Cloud. A bit of spit & polish, a couple of rattle cans of spray paint, and you could work wonders.

Hello chaps, Ive found my xk8... Its got à dead engine ... are they easy to replace? My mécanique freind said avoid it like the plague... but im still keen.

IMHO your mechanic is right. That looks to me to be wayyyy too much for a car with a dead engine, there's missing badges and turn lights, what else is missing, and why? Ask yourself how did it end up in that state, and what does that say for the way it's been looked after (or not, as the case may be). Not easy engines to change, they're really packed in there tight and they're very complex. Walk away and buy a running one. Thanks mate, I thought id best get advice.. cars over here are 30 to 40% more expensive than the uk, thats why I bought my mr2.. it was mint condition and à french one was about 5 to 8k more than in the uk...Luxobarge wrote: ↑Fri Mar 11, 2022 2:48 pmIMHO your mechanic is right.
