I'd throw my hat in to the ring as Matt's replacement (I'm the same age and like cars with big engines).
I think they should have a competition for people to review x / test drive / etc. The winner gets their work published and the chance at future articles.
Mind you, me writing about the amount of work I have done on the mog in the last year would be about 2 paragraphs!
Understeer: when you hit the wall with the front of the car.
Oversteer: when you hit the wall with the back of the car.
Horsepower: how fast you hit the wall.
Torque: how far you take the wall with you.

Maybe Lisa might get a chance to take a more active role. The guys roped her in in the spring issue on the clutch change to the Audi since Matt swanned off to where ever he did.Maybe its time there was a better balance of the fairer sex in the mag, or are there too much testosterone knocking around PC for that ;) :D .By the way speaking of the Audi did they guys check up in the bell housing for the missing sensor?

Now there's any idea... :D I have to say that, although I know I'm in a minority what with being a girl and being able to do more than point at a car and go "oooh, isn't it shiny, I like the colour" ( ), it would be nice to see a woman's perspective on the cars in print occasionally.

Oh, and as for being the fairer sex, the boys that I share a workshop may not agree with that particular description, particularly if I have a torque wrench in my hand at the time... ;)
