Irony:
My Tesco online order arrived slightly early. It turned out that the delivery girl was going to go and see her mum, but she wasn't in - her mum is Kev's partner. I mentioned that I had seen a black Focus outside the house when I was walking the dog. Apparently the Mondeo broke down this morning!
I did suggest that she told her mum to take the car to a decent garage

Hmm, that's a contentious one because the other Brother (Adi)'s brand will always be worth more to collectors in spite of their relative ubiquity. Only the other day I spotted a pair of 1970s Sambas - admittedly in a rare colour combination whose suede areas were heliotrope - on a BIN listing with an asking price of €700! Historically, Rudi's Puma brand may be the more interesting because of the Jesse Owens connection but it's Adidas that are commanding the money.Welshie wrote:Puma's, they wont get any cheaper than they are now.

I see what you're saying, but it's Ford and look at the prices they go for now. When Mk1 and 2 Escorts/Cortina's were proced out, up went the Mk3 and 4 etc. Even the Sierra's are starting to go for good money now and bearing in mind the Puma is a relatively rarer beast than something like a sierra, focus or Mondeo, I'd expect them to be the next Ford that starts picking up in value.JPB wrote:Hmm, that's a contentious one because the other Brother (Adi)'s brand will always be worth more to collectors in spite of their relative ubiquity.
