Hello everyone,
I'm Nick and I live in a small village on the outskirts of Northampton.
Having been an avid reader of Practical Classics for a few years now, along with a host of other similar type publications (that remain nameless), I decided in my 50th year to finally treat myself and dive into the classic scene.
Always wanted a Morris 1000 when I was a teenager, never had one though.
Recently started to admire the curves and poise of the Austin range of cars from the early to mid 50's, particularly the A40 Somerset & Devon's, however it didn't matter how much I looked I never really could bring myself to buy one (something was stopping me obviously)
Then I found it, and I couldn't resist the 170 mile journey first thing on a Saturday morning to go and see her for the first time. Bought instantly and drove home without a hitch the following week, I am the proud owner of a 1958 MG ZB Varitone.
I hope you like her as much as I do. She is as original as she could be. Strong oil pressure, no leaks, good running temperature and a joy to drive.
