Finished refurbing my new (to me) enkei rims for the mk1 mx5, pleased with the result.

So, with that done, decided to give the mx a wash n brush up. did that so went for a blast (80 mile!) around the Llangollen area. spotted these 2 old girls parked up so took a quick cheeky snap

Once home, fitted my new travel buddy

Good work, wheels look great. I was up in the Llangollen area at the end of March - just when the snow hit. That was interesting in a 3 litre BMW!!

Yup, very pleased with how the wheels turned out. Fraction of the cost i had been quoted for powder coating too.

Snow round here was terrible eh!

fitted the enkies today and serviced the brakes as well. decided it was only prudent to take the car for a nice test ride. son came as co-driver and we had a little photo oppertunity.

What paint system did you use for the wheels?
They look good.

Gave them a good prep, a few coats of etch primer then several coats of acrylic satin black. Applied the enkei transfers then several coats of acrylic clear coat. Very pleased with them to be honest
