Excellent, so really only a task to fill an ad break during your favourite TV show then? :D

Old Ball joint was so dry and so shot, that it came apart!

When the base was removed I "poured" fine rust out of the void below the ball!.

New joint fitted, and a new test cert issued!.

The "Little 83 MG" is now tested till end of Nov Next year.

Result!.

Congratulations! Nothing feels better than a new MOT (even if the new MOT certificates look pants).
Have you taken it for a celebratory drive?
Understeer: when you hit the wall with the front of the car.
Oversteer: when you hit the wall with the back of the car.
Horsepower: how fast you hit the wall.
Torque: how far you take the wall with you.

I have already been over Salisbury Plain on the main drag in it, before the test.

The car came woith short T+T , and having done only 15 miles since it's last test, I decided to get in a much "go-kart" fun as I could before the test to "loosen things up".

Suffice to say the car has settled it'self back into regular use!.

And I am now looking at quotes to sort out the external finish.

Mal.
