Surface Rust Remover
Hiya Currently restoring a 1967 13/60 Herald Convertible and the bulkhead whilst being solid is covered in surface rust. Has anyone had good/ bad experiences of any brush on rust dissolver? I remember there being an article in one of the old PC or CM mags but cant remember what one (or in fact what ...

Re: MG Midget 1500
Thanks for input. When I put it into reverse (lift up and to the right, as if a 5th gear) it can move far too far forward but still engages gear. Then when I go to put it back into neutral the whole lever appears to swivel instead of sliding straight into neutral. It engages gear fine. Any ideas? Ta.

Thinking of electronic ignition and wondered if anyone has used the "stealth" Accuspark kit with the blue sports coil? Is there much in the way of improvement? I will give it a fu...

Why can't you drive a caravan? I understood the law to be 3.5T combined train weight. So as long as you dont get one of those American ones that need a lorry tractor unit to tow I'd have thought you would have been fine. The towing car isn't going to be over 2T so that leaves 1.5T on the caravan.

Re: Originality and registrations
Seeing as I started the thread I thought I should throw my opinion in. I have no problem with reshelling or re chassising (not sure if thats a word) or engine gearbox etc swaps. ANYTHING that keeps a classic on the road is fine with me. Far better that than scrapped. For my own cars the 2 Heralds wi...
