I removed my VIN plate from the chassis of my midget before I had it blasted some months ago.

Despite rigourous searching I cannot find it.

Is it possible to get a replacement if I have lost it? I have the Log book V5 document is this enough?

I have heard (from someone) that MGF or TF seats can be made to fit a midget with a little modification to the base and runners.

Does anyone know if this true, and if so what's involved?

Also if seats from any other small more modern sports car eg MX5, MR2 etc can be made to fit.
