Re: Zel's Fleet Blog...Lada, Citroen, Mercedes, Sinclair & AC Model 70
As a HubNut subscriber, I've realized it was you that bought his spares Invacar. I remember the Sinclair C5 bein...

Re: Mobility Astra Mk1 Kadett D Estate
Seanan, I've just subscribed purely on the strength of this particular project. It shouldn't take much to get it through the NCT. You'll need RHD headlamps but I'm sure you've got a set somewhere.

I don't suppose your Lada has an OBD port by any chance? With the right software, you could see if a laptop can ...

You should check out the RetroRestore channel on YouTube. He's revived a fair few lawnmower engines so you should be able to pick up a few pointers.

Re: cleaner emissions
The best place to start would be a full service, a tune-up followed by a good dose of Redex. It will restore a few of those lost horses too.

Re: Ford Sierra Sapphire Restoration
My last Sierra was a Sapphire 1.8LX (G580 FVH) which had the CVH engine. Mine burnt a lot of oil which was down to worn piston rings. I'd had the valve stem oil seals replaced which didn't make any difference. The DOHC engine is one of the better Ford engines. Yours should have the MT75 gearbox whic...
