Moderns paintwork
got a stone chip on the bumper of the Punto last year nothing major which I touched up. The "pen" was from Fiat and thought no more of it. Anyway the year has passed and I`ve looked at it and there is a rough spot about the size of a 50 p where the paint is lifting. I can see the black of the bumper...

Am I sure that fuel was getting into the carb, well I`ve been dosing the carb with superUL before trying to start it and or giving it a good spray of easy start 10 seconds before cranking the engine. Any one watch Hoovies car wizard? I`m sure he called it easy shart! Is that a side effect? Some fuel...

Ok I`ve been disassembling the Herald with a view to getting the chassis / body repaired. Things have been going pretty slowly, Glacially slowly if you listen to MrsM. Court case has been dropped - so I read in the press. Apparently Guy has an Autistic condition and the prosecution didn`t want to run the case as they considered a Jury would find that Guy would have believed that the licence obtained was actually real and not suspicious.

Agree on the Alfa point and why refurb the wheels and leave them on when crushed? If I were in their shoes I would have dropped the motor and left it in a corner dragged whats left to the yard and have the wheels off before the crush.
